Vimmi Video Commerce application allows you to upload videos, make them shoppable, and post to different social networks and video platforms.

This article describes how to create, configure, and publish a new video.

Launch Vimmi Video Commerce application from your Shopify store.

On the Home page of the Vimmi application click "Upload Video" button.

You can also open the "Videos" tab from the top menu and click the "Upload video" button there.

Drag the video file to the window or click the "upload" icon to select the file from your computer.

Supported video formats: .mov, .mp4

Once the file is uploaded, you'll be redirected to the video page and the transcoding of the video will start.

At this step, the name of the uploaded video file will be automatically applied as the name for the video.

The video details section allows you to update the main properties of the video: the name and the description.

Once the video file is uploaded, the default video name will be copied from the uploaded file name. To change the name of the video scroll down the page to the "Video details" section. Change the name of the video in the "Video name" field.

Video description is displayed on the video page of social networks and video platforms, where it is being shared to.

To be able to embed the video using player embed code, or add to the Embed player together with other videos, set the "Embed" status to "Published".
