Create a new video
Vimmi Studio allows you to upload videos, make them shoppable, and post to different social networks and video platforms.
This article describes how to create, configure, and publish a new video.
How to upload a video
After logging in to Vimmi Studio press "Videos" in the menu on the top of the page.
On the "Videos" page press the "Upload video" button.
Drag the video file to the window or click the "upload" icon to select the file from your computer.
Supported video formats: .mov, .mp4
Once the file is uploaded, you'll be redirected to the video page and the transcoding of the video will start.
At this step, the name of the uploaded video file will be automatically applied as the name for the video.
Video details
The video details section allows you to update the main properties of the video: the name and the description.
Video name
Once the video file is uploaded, the default video name will be copied from the uploaded file name. To change the name of the video scroll down the page to the "Video details" section. Change the name of the video in the "Video name" field.
Video description
Video description is displayed on the video page of social networks and video platforms, where it is being shared to.
Set the Embed status
To be able to embed the video using player embed code, or add to the Embed player together with other videos, set the "Embed" status to "Published".
