What are Product Playlists?
Product Playlists are auto-generated video collections linked to a specific product.
Whenever you attach a product to a video, Vimmi automatically creates a dedicated playlist showing all videos related to that product.

Where to find Product Playlists
Go to Videos → Product Playlists in the Vimmi Console.
Switch between tabs:
Videos — all uploaded videos
Playlists — manually created collections
Product Playlists — automatically created per product

Product Playlists are created automatically for each product with related videos.
They can be used on PDPs (Shopify only), in Video Mall widgets, or Video Carousel widgets — anywhere shoppable players are supported.
How Product Playlists are created
Upload or import a video → How to Upload a New Video to Vimmi
Attach a product to the video → How to Attach a Product to a Video
Save — a Product Playlist for that product is created automatically
Each new video linked to the same product will appear in that playlist instantly
No manual creation is needed — playlists update automatically.
How to view or edit Product Playlists
Go to Videos → Product Playlists
Click the playlist (usually named after the product)
In the Manage Playlist Videos view, you can:
Add or remove videos
Update the Poster (thumbnail)
Rename the playlist (for internal use)
Preview attached videos
Where Product Playlists are used
You can use Product Playlists in several widget types:
PDP Video Widget (Shopify only)
Automatically displays related videos for each product on its Product Detail Page.
Video Mall widget
Add a Product Playlist as a tab or content source to display grouped product content.
Video Carousel widget
Show multiple related videos for one product or category.
Best Practices
✅ Attach 2–3 videos per product (review, tutorial, UGC)
✅ Keep playlist names clean and short
✅ Upload clear, branded poster images
✅ Use short videos (under 60 seconds) for higher CTR
✅ Test placement on mobile and desktop
Troubleshooting
Playlist not showing
– Make sure the video has at least one product attached and saved.
– Refresh Videos → Product Playlists.
Poster not updating
– Use a smaller image (PNG/JPG <500kb).
Wrong videos appear
– Open the playlist → remove incorrect videos → click Save.
Playlist missing
– Check that the product was properly attached in the video → How to Attach a Product to a Video.
