Main Steps

Select your YouTube Channel and grant permissions
Verify the connection in Destinations
1. Go to Settings
In your Vimmi Console, click Settings in the top navigation bar.
This is where you configure integrations and manage your connected platforms.
2. Open the Destinations tab
Inside Settings, open the Destinations tab.
This is where you’ll see all existing platform connections (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitch, YouTube, etc.) and add new ones.
3. Click Add Connection
Click the green Add Connection button.
A popup will appear listing all available social platforms that can be connected to your Vimmi account.
4. Choose YouTube
From the popup list of platforms, select YouTube.
A Google Authorization popup will open.
5. Log Into YouTube (Google Account)
When the Google login window appears:
Sign in using the Google Account that owns or manages your YouTube Channel.
If you manage multiple channels, select the correct one during the prompt.
Approve all requested permissions for Vimmi Video Commerce.
These permissions allow Vimmi to:
Upload videos to your channel.
Create and manage live streams.
Read your channel metadata for publishing.
6. Confirm and Authorize
Once you approve access, Google will redirect you back to Vimmi.
You should see a confirmation message that your YouTube Channel is now connected.
🎉 That’s it!
Your YouTube Channel is now linked with Vimmi — ready for streaming or publishing directly from the Console.
7. Verify the Connection
Return to Settings → Destinations.
Your connected YouTube Channel should appear with an Active status.
If it doesn’t show up:
Refresh the page.
Ensure the correct Google Account was used.
Try reconnecting.
Troubleshooting
Connection fails at login
Make sure you’re using the Google Account that owns or manages your YouTube Channel.
Try clearing browser cookies or using an incognito window.
Missing Channel or permissions
If no channels are listed, check your Google permissions — ensure Vimmi Video Commerce is authorized.
You can re-authorize in your Google Account permissions.
Multiple channels
If you manage multiple YouTube Channels under one Google Account, confirm you selected the correct one during authorization.
Organization restrictions
Workspace accounts (corporate Google Accounts) may block API connections. Try connecting via a personal creator account.
