You can connect your Facebook Profile or Facebook Page to Vimmi and use them as destinations for posting videos or going live.

Main Steps
Open Settings in your Vimmi Console
Go to the Destinations tab
Click Add Connection
Choose Facebook
Select either Facebook Profile or Facebook Page
Log in and authorize access

1. Go to Settings
From your Vimmi Console, click Settings in the top navigation bar.
This is where you manage your integrations, connected social accounts, and publishing destinations.
2. Open the Destinations tab
Inside Settings, click the Destinations tab.
Here you can connect new platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or Twitch.
3. Click Add Connection
Click the green Add Connection button.
This opens a list of available social platforms that can be linked to your Vimmi account.
4. Choose Facebook
From the popup list, select Facebook.
A Facebook authorization window will appear.
Supported connection types:
Facebook Profile – to post or go live on your personal profile.
Facebook Page – to publish as a brand, creator, or business page.
5. Select Facebook Profile
When prompted, you can choose:
Facebook Profile – your personal account for sharing directly with followers or friends.
Facebook Page – your business or creator page (requires that you have admin access).
6. Log Into Facebook and Authorize Access
A login popup will appear.
Enter your Facebook credentials.
Approve all permissions requested by Vimmi Video Commerce.
Wait until the authorization completes and the popup closes automatically.
🎉 That’s it!
Your Facebook Profile or Page is now connected to Vimmi.
You can use it as a destination for publishing videos and live events.
7. Verify the Connection
Go back to Settings → Destinations.
Your connected Facebook Profile or Page should appear in the list with an Active status indicator.
If not:
Refresh the page.
Ensure pop-ups were not blocked.
Try reconnecting.
Troubleshooting
🛑Connection fails
Confirm you’re logging into the correct Facebook account (especially if managing multiple pages).
Check that browser pop-ups are allowed.
Try reconnecting using an incognito window.
Permissions issue
Reconnect and approve all requested permissions for Vimmi Video Commerce.
Make sure you have Admin access for any Facebook Page you’re trying to connect.
Wrong account or Page
Go to Settings → Destinations, remove the wrong connection.
Reconnect and select the correct Profile or Page.

Q1: Can I connect both a Profile and a Page?
Yes! You can connect your personal Facebook Profile and one or more Pages separately — each will appear as a unique destination in Vimmi.
Q2: Do I need a Business Page for live streaming?
It’s recommended. Pages have additional analytics and permissions for professional use, while Profiles are best for personal sharing.
Q3: Can I disconnect later?
Yes — go to Settings → Destinations, find the Facebook connection, and click Remove Connection.
Q4: Can I switch from Profile to Page?
Yes — simply remove your current connection and reconnect, selecting Facebook Page instead.
