Verify your connection status in Destinations
1. Go to Settings
In your Vimmi Console, click Settings in the top navigation bar.
This is where you manage all integrations, including social media and live streaming destinations.
2. Open the Destinations tab
Inside Settings, open the Destinations tab.
Here you’ll find all connected accounts and options to add new ones like Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, or TikTok.
3. Click Add Connection
Click the green Add Connection button.
A popup window will appear listing all supported platforms available for integration.
4. Choose Twitch
From the list of available platforms, select Twitch.
A Twitch Authorization popup will open automatically.
5. Log Into Twitch and Authorize Access
When the Twitch login window opens:
Enter your Twitch credentials.
Grant all requested permissions for Vimmi Video Commerce.
Wait for the popup to close automatically and return to Vimmi.
These permissions allow Vimmi to:
Stream directly to your Twitch channel.
Manage live broadcast sessions.
Access stream metadata for analytics and monitoring.
🎉 That’s it!
Your Twitch Account is now connected to Vimmi, and you can stream directly from your Console.
6. Verify the Connection
Go back to Settings → Destinations.
Your Twitch connection should now appear in the list with an Active status.
If not visible:
Refresh the page.
Ensure the Twitch popup was not blocked by your browser.
Try reconnecting.
Troubleshooting
Connection fails
Check that you’re signing into the correct Twitch account.
Ensure browser pop-ups are allowed during the authorization process.
Retry the connection using an incognito window.
Missing permissions
If Vimmi can’t start streams, reconnect and grant all permissions during the Twitch authorization flow.
Connection not appearing in Destinations
Wait a few moments and refresh the page.
If still missing, click Remove Connection (if available) and reconnect again.
Account restrictions
Some organizational Twitch accounts may have limited API permissions. Use a personal or creator account for best results.
