How to connect your TikTok account

You can connect your TikTok Account to Vimmi and use it as a destination for posting videos or broadcasting live events.

This guide explains how to connect TikTok step by step, verify your connection, and fix possible login issues.


Main Steps

  1. Open Settings in your Vimmi Console

  2. Go to the Destinations tab

  3. Click Add Connection

  4. Choose TikTok

  5. Log in and grant permissions

  6. Verify your connection status in Destinations


1. Go to Settings

In your Vimmi Console, click Settings in the top navigation bar.

This is where you manage all social and live streaming integrations.

2. Open the Destinations tab

Inside Settings, open the Destinations tab.

Here you can connect, manage, or remove platforms like TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitch.

3. Click Add Connection

Click the green Add Connection button.

A popup window will appear with a list of supported platforms.

4. Choose TikTok

From the list of available platforms, select TikTok.

A TikTok Authorization popup will open, redirecting you to TikTok’s official login page.

5. Log Into TikTok and Grant Permissions

When the TikTok login window opens:

  1. Enter your TikTok credentials.

  2. Approve all requested permissions for Vimmi Video Commerce.

  3. Wait for the authorization popup to close automatically.

These permissions allow Vimmi to:

  • Upload videos to your TikTok account.

  • Publish live broadcasts.

  • Retrieve video status for analytics.

That’s it!

Your TikTok Account is now connected to Vimmi.

You can upload or stream directly to TikTok from your Console.


6. Verify the Connection

Return to Settings → Destinations.

Your TikTok account should now appear with an Active status indicator.

If it doesn’t:

  • Refresh the page.

  • Reconnect the account.

  • Check if pop-ups were blocked during login.


Troubleshooting

Login fails

  • Ensure you’re logging into the correct TikTok account.

  • Try reconnecting in an incognito window or clearing browser cookies.

Permissions denied

  • If you skipped permissions during login, reconnect and approve all TikTok permissions for Vimmi Video Commerce.

Multiple accounts

  • If you manage several TikTok accounts, make sure the correct one is selected during authorization.

Account type restriction

  • Business accounts must have “Content Posting” enabled in TikTok settings for Vimmi to upload successfully.

You can connect one TikTok account per Vimmi user profile. You can switch or reconnect anytime.

No, both Creator and Business accounts are supported — but Business accounts offer analytics and commercial music usage.

Yes — go to Settings → Destinations, locate TikTok, and click Remove Connection.
